“My first film was super-exciting. I really enjoyed it, even though it was tough sometimes. I liked best the night scenes with the fog machine. Also in Alsace is was great. Everyone was always so kind to me, that was nice.
I would like to act in another film.”

“I perceive ‘Dark Fortune’ as a very deep story. This becomes visible to me by the mystical peace it emits, which seems to obscure a finely branched and tense disturbance beneath it all. I sensed this special vibe again and again from the first reading of the script to the last day of filming. Our team, the work, the people and the filming locations, it all matched in a wondrous way. I wish for our film, that it will touch the audience, that it will appeal in a mysterious and insipring way, and that its particular level, which connected us on this project, will be felt and visible for the audience. I wish the film time and space.”

“While filming, I identified more and more with the role, so that in the end it became increasingly difficult to seperate fiction from reality. The fate of the boy affetcs you and you get dragged into his world, whether you want it or not.”

“From the reading rehersal to the last day of filming in Colmar, I felt a focused serenity: everything seemed self-evident and right! Once more the result of a preparation, which could hardly be more meticulous. It is a gift to work with Stefan; the diligence and attention, visible to the last detail, opens the heart and let’s me stay with myslef. If this ‘fortune’ of the work is visible only to some extent in the film, then the “darkness” should be balanced out by this close-to-life story with ease.
Wonderful players in front and behind a subtle camera – invariably modest and humorous the atmosphere! What else could you wish for? That it persists and reaches far – the Dark Fortune – unto the hearts of the audience! A thankful accomplice and amorously entangled one ...”
